Hi all

Whats everyones opions on the age of vans, still looking to drop on my first van, that mythical bargin at the right price with all the extras and no damp. haha

I've set a limit of 10 years older but am I right to do this or should i expand my search into older vans?

Are there better bargin to be had or am I askingfor trouble?

Any caravan over 5 years old, even up to 20 years old might be a bargain, if it suits your needs, has been kept in good condition and is free from the dreaded damp.

Damp is a major problem even with some newish caravans and is expensive to have fixed professionally. It is however quite cheap although time consuming if you're handy at D-I-Y

Learn all you can about detecting it before you go looking. Just do a search on damp.

age is immaterial,the most important thing is condition and NO damp.i have seen many good looking vans of 20 years old.see before buying...
