Thanks for all the advise so far.

I'm off to look at the two vans above both 1996 models like the look of the swift on paper.

Any common faults i should look out for?

They are similar price but swift comes the extras, is elddis a better van?

Hi  Mike  , We had the 1991 version of the swift rapide 440 and we found it was a great van , easy to find parts for if you need anything .

We liked swift so much that i had no qualms about purchasing our latest van which is a 1994 swift corvette , which is very similar to the rapide in layout , only issue i have with the new one is the window rubbers are perished , but from what we can see that isnt too big a job to do ourselves .

Can't help you on the elddis van though , not had any experience with them .

Hi Mike , i use a Ford Focus , 1.8 , tows it no problem . I had a 2.0L mondeo whilst i had the old van , you tended to forget you were towing with that :)
