I LOVE my Remoska!!!!  I've got a Grand one as we have 4 kids and you need a big pot to feed 6 hungry mouths.

You name it, we cook it in it.  Pies, meat, chicken, stews, cakes, potatoes, xmas cake! 

Ours broke the other day....well, it had a helping hand as I dropped the lid.  But rang Lakeland and said it had stopped working.....no problem..just sent me another!  No questions asked.  Came less than 24hours after I had called them.  If only other companies were the same!.

LOVE IT!! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!!

I ummed and arred over the remoska for ages but in the end bougt the bravoska. The advantage of the bravoska is that you can use it 'upside down' i.e. with the heating element at the bottom too. In that way you effectively have a heated frypan which I used to brown meat etc. then turn it over, add the stock and turn it into an oven for my caserole.

I love it and use it all the time at home (much quicker and cheaper then putting the oven on) and wouldn't be without it in Dylan the Dandy!

We've got the Grand, OH can't survive without a Sunday roast, gets withdrawal symptoms!!! used on a table in the awning when its hot outside (south of France)

Cooks a mean roast! & if you're enterprising, in the grand you can roast a small chicken, roast the spuds & do a small yourkshire pud all at the same time!

One of the best bits of kit we ever bought for the van, worth every penny!

Personally being the owner of a cobb think it is overated..... Cobbs are great for cooking a roast or as an oven as a barbecue they are not good

hehe i bought mine especially to use that way - it is a slow bbq for sure but it can cook alot of roast stuff to perfection and be used as a smoker - i just wondered if the remoska could do anything significantly different to the cobb or is it an electric oven cum slo cooker? Cobb can do that but with no electric so has an up side there!!
