Hi i ave just bought a coachman caravan very pleased with it,but there something wrong with the 240v mains supply?i can have the lights running but as soon as i go to turn anything else on it flips the switch, not always in my caravan sometimes in my house?the consumer unit has a 5a and a 10a on the unit, could it be a faulty unit of dogdy wiring?or could it just be i am running to much stuff in the house and the caravan is overloading it,thanks.
It could be a wiring fault with the caravan mains sockets or the circuit breaker is faulty ( ie tripping for no reason ) , or the water heater element has blown or the fridge heater element .
Hope this helps .

Hi wizard thanks,i have noticed when you flip the 5a switch on the breaker there is a big flash and it sometimes trips out the caravan?as for the 10a one this seems ok,but sometimes wont work umless the 5a one is turned on??there are a lot of wires goin into trhe 5a one,but i suppose this is ok as it looks like it has been like it for years,it just seems wierd as the people i bought it off were actually living in it,up until a couple of weeks ago and they did'nt mention anything to me
