Hi all

We recently bought an Adria Caravan.  We have been having a problem with the taps in the kitchen.  My husband wants to replace them or at least look at the wiring to check that its ok.  The problem is we are not sure how to remove the taps.  There are no screws on the top to release them and my husband believes it is screwed from under the sink.  The way I look at it is there are two options to get to the taps, one would be to remove the fridge, which is infront of the sink (don't really want to go for that option worried that we would not be able to reconnect the fridge).  Second option is to remove a panel on the outside of the van (which still belongs to the fridge) and reseal it.

Has anyone replaced their taps on the Adria vans? and if so which way is the best option?  We are going away again this weekend so would be great to give it ago.

Any help would be great - thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa , i would say as long as you can see the taps thro the vent then this is probably the easiest way to go .
The base nut that holds our taps in place came loose while on holiday and i managed to reach it by removing some shelves in one of the cupboards , i did also contemplate removing the sink .

Thanks for that I think that is the best option.  we didn't want to move the sink because it has got a good seal on it and didnt want to damage it.  Oh well wish us luck

Hi Lisa, My Adria has access to the tap wiring through the upper fridge vent. You can get to the wiring connections but not to the tap itself. I hope you're able to sort it out.

Thanks Anne our van is an optima as well.  When you say upper fridge vent, is that the one above the fridge or the vent outside?  We looked through the gap and it didnt look that big with the sink being in the way.

We havent had the van that long and want to learn as much DIY as we can.
