Most Baileys appear to be fitted with a very noisy Whale water pump They are proving to be difficult to get sorted under warranty so check before you buy.See other threads on this .

We have seen the Louisana on the forecourts, and it looks great, we decided to go for the Indiana in the end, just because of never towing before, thought we should start off with something a bit smaller, but if I was buying now I would definately go for it.

Wow how things have changed

Our first van in 1968 was a Bluebird Europe 3 at 9ft 3in long (3 berth-no loo)and our first tow ever was from Stoke on Trent to Berlin via the "corridor" through East Germany

We took it to Istanbul that summer with 2 children under 2years old

It would have been beyond our wildest dreams to own our present outfit or an equally small Indiana. 

It cost £135 and we sold it 2 years later for £200 including a £40 awning

Things certainly have changed

Thats some traveling in your first year John G!! I suppose the roads were quieter and petrol cheaper in 1968, I myself was in Germany in the Army in 68 but don't remember the price of petrol,although I'm sure it was cheap,.We need the equipment of today and prices of yesterday.. Anybody got a good year old Louisiana for sale?
