PS this winter i am going to get some fleece material and some wadding i reckon it will cost about £20/30 and i am going to make some mattress enhancers for the kids bunks for extra warmth this time out. anyone who wants a try.
when you have the measurement for the bed size , and cut material .
place right sides of material together then place wadding on top . stitch around three sides leaving one side open .
then just turn like a pillowcase so right sides are out and stitch open end closed. you can then attach ties to corners or elastic and this will hold in place on the bed.
i am making my own as i priced them in the shops and its £20 for one single so its cheaper to make your own. also you can choose to make them as thick as you think will be comfortable for you as wadding comes in different thicknesses
