Well, after our last experience of buying a van and going away to many problems we decided to spend a night in the drive with all things hooked up and pretend we were away - after a couple of glasses of wine I really did start to think I was on holiday . Well the night went really well and the van is in great shape and no problems experienced - I think we left some of the neighbours thinking we are completely mad but it was well worth the experience and the kids absolutly loved it. Only problem now is they will want to do it every night and then we end up saying things like - why have a mortgage when you can live in the drive????

Good for you, we slept in ours on the drive over Xmas whilst our visitors used the house, it was great, an escape.  and you did not have to put a wet awning away this morning.

We might be doing that, our fist weekend we have booked we wont get there till its dark, always good for a first time in new van!!

Great Idea..

I found my husband on the drive, in the van with a cold beer watching the Rugby World Cup.   God knows what the neighbours  must think.
