Hi I have bought a Cotswold Windrush I beleive t to be a 1987 model 11/20L it is 14`5" or 4.43meters, unladen weight 16.9cwt or 858kg at the front it has a single window and to the sides front, two compartments for the gas bottles and batterys.
Paloma water heater I think?, this dates it to late 70's I would say. There's also a vibrant Windrush owners club which can help on most matters, should be a link on this site somewhere
Notice your pulling it with a landy, I'd fit a Dixon-Bates 'shock link' on the towbar or you might find the caravan chassis cracking if you intend to tow very far. This stops vibration caused by the landy's cart spring suspension being transmitted through the towball onto the caravan chassis.
practical caravan's used van doc featured the cotswold celeste in the november 2007 issue, they were built to about 1989. good spec vans and you do see a few of them about
only have info on 1988 cotswold windrush 132/2 ........
lenght = 12ft-4inch / width = 6ft-3inch / unladen weight = 15 cwt / max gross = 18 cwt / maker in bussiness = no bought by swift groop 1989 / contact swift on 01482 847332.identification ? cotswold used there own numbering system, although after 1985 check out the syspal chassis number,or ring swift who have serial numbers on record.check rubber seal on the front window for leaks if its a fixed one.hope this helps.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Are you using propane gas(red bottle)? if you have butane(blue bottle) your fridge wont ignite in this weather its too cold for butane to work reliably--
