Hi
I have a compass rallye 1993 with a carver water heater. Worked fine on both gas and electric, until the control box was kicked by accident and the lid snapped off along with the switch to turn water heater on using gas. I have replaced fuses but it still doesnt work (no lights whatsoever). Does the switch need any metal connectors to connect the on/off switch to the chip inside the control box? Can I buy a replacement switch and chip?
Will probably have to take it to a caravan repairer to fix it but thought I'd check here first.
Works fine on electric, but use it mainly at dog shows without Electric hookup, so ideally need it to work again on gas, currently having to boil a kettle, any advice greatly appreciated.
