Does any one know of a UK fixed bed caravan that has a reversible bed, that is you can turn it over like a domestic mattress? If not, which caravan do you think has the most comfortable fixed bed mattress?
I too have the swift 550, and me and my other half have just been away this weekend and come to the conclusion that it is more comfortable than our bed at home!
We have put a memory foam topper on ours and it works very well - my wife has a back problem. However, it made the bed very heavy to lift so we got a lighter mattress from IKEA to replace the original and now have the memory foam on top of that.
Patrice - I see you have an Indiana and tow it with a Kia Sorento. I have the same van but have towed it with a Land Cruiser . However the engine needs major surgery and I am looking at the Sorento 2.5 diesel auto as a tow car. Can you recommend it?
Misterg i have the manual version it's the 2.5 tdi xse and it is absolutly fabulous for towing pull's the bailey with ease even up hills don't know i'v got it hitched to the car fuel economy is very good as well i went to somerset from kent and it used half a tank, would recommend it to anyone don't get anything lower then the 2.5 they are not as good at pulling

My Indiana is very comfortable, and we have one of those topper's not the memory foam one, the cosy duvet sort of one, with lovely memory foam pillows. You can't turn the mattress over though.
Presumably any caravan that has a fixed bed that is symetrical will have a mattress that you can turn over if you wish to. But why would you want to turn the mattress anyway? It's not really necessary unless the bed is slept in all the time.
Our Bailey Ranger has a very comfortable bed although you can't turn the mattress due to it's shape.
