hi thinkin of buying a arched shaped pyramid portaporch awning,wondered if anyone has one,and can tell me their views ,cheers

Hello!

I am looking into getting a porch awning as well. I have looked into lots of makes and have heard that the porta porch PDQ awnings are very cheap in quality, and have damaged peoples vans from hanging on the side and banging about. I might be wrong, but it was one I was going to avoid. I have heard great reveiws about the sunncamp ultima which is very similar.

We have the portaporch from pyramid awnings , only used it once so far after having it swapped from the PDQ by pyramid customer services, We haven't left it on the side of the van this time due to using full awning in a couple of weeks but wouldn't have thought it would damage the awning rail, the weight of it is minimal. As for the quality well it's on a par with the rest of this type of awning on the market, ideal for short stays and a good size, fairly easy to erect, I'm sure the more we use it the easier it will get. Certainly prefer the portaporch to the PDQ.
