hi all

i am looking to purchase a sun canopy for my van, i dont want a full canopy i just want something that slides into the awning chanel and is then proped on two poles with guy ropes, i want something about 6 or 7 feet wide.

can anybody suggest where to by something like this i want to use this just as somewhere to take shous of in winter rather that putting up an awing

Any help would be appreciated

Their website obviously dont work--your nearest caravan shop should be able to supply you with what you want-worth pointing out-cheap nylon ones are only described as showerproof--so better to get a more expensive one in waterproof tencate material--also its better to have 3 ajustable poles to make a more pitched roof effect for when it rains- 2 poles just make a water trap-also these things wont stand strong winds--

Hi try here canvas repair centre they can make it for you and its not expensive, I've seen one done and they also supply poles and can match to the colour of your van.

I made one from a length of awning tape salvaged from a scrapped awning and a section of the canvas roof cost me nothing works well as long as the winds dont get to strong
