Warning just bought a pyramid cover suitable for a 19ft to21ft caravan for my 20ft caravan it is very tight and am having to return it for the next size up...hassle...hope this helps others !!
Any thoughts on the merits of caravan covers. as I have heard from some sources that it is better not to cover. Which is best Leave uncovered or Cover?
Would be interested to hear what others think.
------------- Don't know where I'm going but will be happy when I get there.
Perhaps people in storage sites don't use one because no-one would see, or talk about, their latest expensive "toy"!
not true,if not fitted correctly or the wrong size or type of material these things can and do cause damage to windows and exposed corners of paintwork and roof fittings.for this reason i am giving second thoughts to having one.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
We use a cover with no problems and I made sure I got one that said it will not scratch windows. There are only 8 vans where we store ours and 3 have covers so thats quite a good percentage! The ones that are not covered are green and horrible and I think I have only seen 1 move so the reason they are not covered is probably that their owneres have forgotton that they have them and don't care about keeping them in good nic!
Vernon----- no --no--no, they probably use the cover you can't see and fits every make of caravan and motorhome. doesn't cost the earth and already used by many caravan storage facilities.-----Cheers DOAPY
My van sits on the drive and so if I see it beginning to look a bit under the weather I can go out and give it a spruce up. I've heard for and against so I think I'll save my brass and just keep an eye on it. Thanks anyway

We bought the cover for our Charrisma Celeste and never put it on so if anyone is interested contact me, it has never been used and originally cost over £300.
As we van all year, the idea of putting one of these on and off each time we want to go away does not apeal and that is the reason we did not use it. Should have let it go when we changed vans but actually forgot we had it.
I am now looking at the Fenwicks Winter coat (think that is what it is called) but as previously said, as we now keep the van at home, we can clean it each time it looks a bit dirty.
