Have to confess, do not use the breathable one in the winter as it acts like a sponge and sucks up the smallest bit of water and mud making it very unpleasant coming in from outside when it is wet and raining.

I also think that the mess left by these is worse than the bare patch, which quickly recovers, left by the normal groundsheet.

The only snag with ours is that when we pitch on grass we need a strimmer after a couple of days !!!! As for mud, etc.two sisal doormats seem to do the trick

Steer clear of Harrison - I inherited one with my present van and although it's the smallest I've ever had (van is only 9 feet long and short of stature, like me) I've put it up 3 times now and still find it the hardest to put up that I've ever owned - and I've had a couple of NRs, Bradcot, Dorema, a strange French one that doesn't exist anymore, 2 x Combi Camps & 2 x Conway Folding Campers.
