Hi all just some advise and a little help needed.
The wife wants a caravan with an end bathroom any advice on names of vans that has this due to being total novice's havent got a clue.
Jason if you are looking at Bailey caravans their is a
Pagent Champayne
Senator Arizona
In the Explorer group they have names then numbers you need the one with 524 on the side
But their is loads of other makes out their get a copy of practical caravan which lists all of the makes and styles
Jason this is Daisybev BTW...
Mine is an Avondale 515 mayfair (dart) but the bailey Pagent Champagne are really nice decent size shower too if you need to use it good bathroom lay out.
Just eyes up for damp behind the bunks in the wall board from the wheen arch area I looked at 4 all the same damp spots...
Hi, We looked at all the layouts available last year and decided to go for the end washroom with side dinette. Very pleased with our choice as the bed only takes a minute or so to make up and you have no wasted space throughout the day like the fixed beds have. Luxurious washroom too in the Coachman Laser....Brilliant caravan.
Our Lunar is end bathroom, large rectangular shower, loo, hand basin and lots of storage. Wouldn't go for anything else. Loads of room especially needed for 6' 4 OH. Also the Lunar is lightweight.
we have the Bailey Paeant Loire, and love it, but the only thing I would say is the kitchen surface near to the main seating curves out, making it narrow when when the bed is made up and as you get a little older more difficult to swing round and get out that's if you make the bed up, so it maybe worth checking the width left, we didn't consider this when buying ours, as the other one was a 2berth and had plenyt of width. other than that we love having the end bathroom
This would go for the Champagne as well, it's the same layout
We have a Bailey Ranger and I just love the end bathroom we have so much more space and storage. We never use the shower so more storage space for me to put junk in. I don't think I would change to another van with out a end bathroom.
Well someone has to be different so it may as well be me.
We (oh and i) do not have an end washroom. We have a fixed bed because we cannot be bothered to make beds up each night. Also handy if one of us wants a kip during the day.
Interesting that the bailey I bought does not have a window in the back whereas the end washrom ones do.
our first van was an Abbey Oxford EB and i loved it we have a Swift Challenger 5 berth with a central bathroom although we still have a nice seperate shower the space is so small and its the only thing i dont like about the van would i have another EB too right i would....
------------- lifes too short to be sad
Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
Like Vic we have an Elddis Avante 482 and love the bathroom. It has had a fair bit of use. I disappear in that at night to do all those mysterious female things while OH makes up the bed. And as Vic said the shower is a good size for big men.
We looked at lots of van with different layouts and decided the end bathroom was the best. The Avante also has a nice amount of worktop space in the kitchen too.
We have a 2-berth Coachman with end bathroom. Never use site facilities; the Coachman has en suite luxury that cannot be surpassed by what's provided on site. Being well into retirement, we need the extra bit of comfort.
