To have the best view you will need wing mirrors regardless of vehicle driven. We have a discovery and the view behind is expanded with extension mirrors. Just think how it would feel to injure a motorcyclist for example by having unnecessary blind spots.
Damn right! The amount of foolish people towing without them is ridiculous, If the caravan is wider than the car (which most are unless you own a Hummer) then you should always have extension mirrors"
We use the elastic type band ones, from the local accessory shop, Had them for 6 years now and still going strong, Fitted all our cars perfectly, in fact they seem to fit our Terrano better than any of the others
