Even if you pick up a puncture with this stuff in your tyre will deflate a bit before it seals. So you know you have a puncture. But then you use your spare and get the other one fixed. It will save your wheel rims and stop you going out of control, It might even get you home, but you should not rely on it for the rest of your tyres life.
Motorcyclists use it as a fully deflated wheel can have you off in no time. But they realise they should not travel too far or fast before the puncture is repaired properly or the tyre replaced.
I use it on my work trailer as I have to go on some dubious sites, but I have a good check around every few days, which you should do anyway regardless of having it in.
