Has anyone had any trouble with after sales on any explorer group van we bought compass omega in july, the lounge window was scratched and we were told that this would be done under warranty now 4 months later the window has still not been done and explorer group are just finding excuses not to do it company we bought it off have said it will get done but how long do you have to wait

I would have said the problem is with the supplying dealer.

If the caravan was bought on finance, tell the dealer you will be asking them to intervene, that usually works.

If all else fails your local Trading Standards or Consumer Direct should be able to help.

Exactly.

I had a warrantee issue on my van inside the first 12 months from new, and the dealer was offering excuses about explorer this and explorer that.

Until I started making a fuss writing straight to the director, reminding him that my contract was with him and not the explorer group.  Funny how the problems were solved quite quickly after that.

The workshops will always schedule in the paying work first and warrantee work later.
