Hello all, advice time please.
After wiping out our stock of standard pegs and getting sick of starting the weekend with only three undamaged fingers! We've decided to invest in some new awning pegs. We've (first time this year) started to winter camp and are now members of the Caravan Club, so need the ones that also work on hardstanding. Looking through Towsure brochure (pg63) there seems to be two types that look and sound the part, but offer different advantages.....
1st is the 'Thread Pegs' that screw down with the aid of a cordless drill or wrench. Easy & quick and the brochure says they'll do for hardstanding, but
2nd is the 'Rock Peg Kit' which are "heavy duty" and come with their own special claw hammer.
Am I falling for some kind of sales gimmick that I'm totally missing, or is there some advantage to the claw hammer?
OR
Am I being a typical bloke and liking the idea of using my Hilti SIW to put up the awning!!
Please help me decide or shove me in the right direction.
