Every so often Lidl have the odd bargain - no more so than today - I found a pack of two IP44 outdoor electrical sockets with a remote control function for £7.99.

These are great of you keep your van hooked up overwinter on your drive as you can turn on either heaters or lights etc. from the house without having to unlock the van each time.

Similarly if you are on site they can be used to turn on a lamp either in the van or in the awning as you approach.

Keeping an eye on the bargains at both Lidl and Aldi can save you a lot of cash when they have something you want.  And the quality is usually good as well.

Ace id thats the sattelite you are referring too there are many threads on that one, I personally take my sky box with an old sky dish someone kindly threw in a skip.

Do a search on satellites that may help.

lidl had some rubber backed carpet/mats a couple of weeks ago-they were £3.99 very good value.ideal to keep by the door for muddy boots etc-especially at this time of year.

No you dont need a sky subscription with this type of sattelite, however you will not be able to view scambled channels, like those put out by sky

I bought a free to air satellite kit from Maplins, when they were on special offer.

It works very well once set up. The first time took a while but now its okay.We picked up loads of channels at the CCC site at Bala where reception is poor.
