I got there in the end.

Thanks to all the people on here for helping.

I picked up my van yesterday and my car last week.

I now have a 2002 2ltr Mondeo TDCi and a 1996 Bailey Ranger 500/4 .

Towing was very nice and easy, well after the first couple of miles anyway.

I have had a look and am very keen on Moreton-in-Marsh its a CC site an looks nice.

Also its only about 40 mins from home, far enough for a first weekend adventure.

So Diane how did you almost blow your van up on your first trip?

I am very nervous of how everything works etc, I know it will come but hopefully without any explosions along the way.

Our first van was an 1989 Avondale and I was trying to make my first cuppa in it, only problem was that the markings on the gas hob weren't right good and I was trying to find the right knob for the right ring and without realising it I'd left the grill turned on but not lit. Then before I had chance to light the hob my hubby asked me to switch the hot water on, which as soon as I did there was a huge bang and all the cupboard doors flew open and I nearly had an accident lol. I refused to touch the hot water switch for a while after that. That same weekend our partially sighted lab got electrocuted by the farmers fence so was quite an eventful first weekend away lol

Campsite excellent, nice pub grub on edge of village (near petrol station) been there a few times never been disapointed

I dont need the corksrew Gaz I'm gonna be on sipping fine Malt with my Brother.

My wife (Liz) thinks its toooooooooooooo cold for camping so my brother is going to come with me for the first trip.

The Kids will be with u on Saturday but Liz is going to pick them up on Sunday and we are staying on until Monday so I think the Malt will probably get finnished of Sunday night.

You need something to take the chill off.
