Hi Both, Can't remember seeing the Loire it may have been there, they did have the Indiana but I was looking for the Virginia with the island bed and that was not there,
There where very few bargins as there where not many display stands I did get £2 knocked off an automatic gas switchover valve at the Gasglow stand but nothing I could not have had cheaper on the net.
It cost us £10 to park in the nearest car park £7.50 to get in it could have been £15 if not for club membership and the 2 roll's and cofee's set me back another £10 not a cheep day £27.50 to save £2 and to freezzzz your nadgers off its cold in the stadium.
We were thinking about going, mainly because we want to see the Loire but also to have a look round the show, but I think we might just wait until our dealer gets one, especially with the weather we've had today!
I'll save my £7.50 too. The parking wasn't an issue for me as I'd leave the car in work and walk up to the stadium. Don't fancy queueing in the rain to see my local dealer though. Strangely enough, I don't recall any of the local dealers there last year.
we are not going although it had crossed my mind , better for me to pop over to the shepton mallet show for me bits and bobs , as said before its been in decline over the years and id rather travel a little further away for a better day out.
Shame really we have the venues and potential

After visiting the NEC I suppose it would be a hard act to follow, but they could have made so much more of it.
Where were the big companies like Towsure? Are we not worth the effort? There was only one awning make and a total showing of two full awnings for a caravan and three or four for motor homes.
I will vote with my feet and not bother to visit again and if I find the email address of the organisers I will send my feelings to them also, I did complain to the people taking the tickets that I thought the idea of having people queue in the freezing rain was a bad start as there appeared room to have done this in the entrance to the stadium.
Oh dear, don't think we'll bother. We weren't after any bargains, just fancied an afternoon out, browsing, but if its that bad it won't be worth the money - by the time you pay to park (a costing I'd conveniently forgotten about!)
Thanks for the tip off, will be interesting to hear other views after the weekend.
i had a lovely time :O) saw a good selection of vans on display :O) not many accessory stands but what was there was good and some bargains could be found :O) dont let parking prices put you off if your going next year cos sophia gardens is cheap :O) you dont have to buy food in there..get stamped and pop out for lunch theres a wetherpoons just down road :O) i will deffo be going next year again :O)

started a post and have not been on for days, after reading some of the post was not sure whether to go or not, but we did end up going as we have never been to one before, we went late on sunday, i was hopeing there would be more stores as well as caravans. One store holder said there is another one April 18th at Carmarthen that is supposed to be a bit better, My 7yr said he is not going to that crap again it is boring, which it would for a 7yr so if we next year I will leave him home wish i had yesterday.
They did have some lovley caravans though I'll have to keep on dreaming for a few years though.
A pity really as I for one would love a good Welsh caravan show but unless people complain to the organisers there won't be much change next year the ones to voice you complaints or congratulations if you did like the show are
