Can anybody help or give advice. We've just purchased our first van & are looking to see if we can get a workshop / factory manual for it. If any body has one to sell or can make a copy we would be greatful & of course willing to pay any costs encountered. I've searched the web over the past month looking for an ABI owners club, but without luck. The 2 that are mentioned are not up & running.
The main ABI site seems only to cover static vans, has the caravan division changed hands ?.
We purchased our van in the UK because of the price difference but when we got home to Denmark, although we had been told it had been resealed after a “small leak” we found that it was more than a “small leak” & had not been resealed.
As I read in one of the comments on the site “ 50 years old & still getting ripped off” I know how he feels BUT after a good read through “The fixed it club “ site I'm feeling a lot better.

Hi Steve & Birgit , welcome to UKCS , if you need advice on repairing your caravan ask away , The Fixed it Club members are here to help you .
If you need manuals for the equipment in your caravan tell us what the make / model are , i.e. Carver Cascade water heater , Rm212 fridge , Alko chassis , etc . I'm sure someone will have the manual / manuals you need . I do have quite a lot of manuals so feel free to email me and if i've got them i'll send them to you .
Don't have one for your ABI though , sorry .

Abi Club, there's a member there who will send you a workshop manual, on cd, for your van, free of charge, you just pay a first class stamp.

I see someone is selling a 1997 model. They may be able to help you with manuals etc. Try contacting them. Worth a try.

Mark of Callender caravans is a regular poster on there, and seems to have a huge range of manuals, that he will photocopy for you for a small sum to cover his photocopy costs and postage.

FYI, he managed to get me a copy of the manual for my 1991 ABI Tristar!

50 years old & still getting ripped off” Thanks Steve and Birgit. 55 actually (maybe even a year older shortly). Glad you found this place, I know we were. Without the help of the 'Fixed it club' we would still be crying into our beer. An immense wealth of knowledge from people who care and are glad to help. Wouldn't be without them.
