Hi, We are trying to find a sturdy porch awning that is quick to put up. We purchased the Sunncamp Ultima 260 last year to fit our Bailey Range 550/6 and was told that it would fit but we find it doesn't fit close enough to the caravan and lets in water and it also leaks along the seams. Any suggestions welcome. We also have a bradcot main awning but this is very difficult for 2 of us to erect in windy conditions as we don't have the easy pole system. Again any recommendations on full awnings would be great.
My OH can erect the Bradcot full awning on his own, but the Bradcot porch was something else. The one we had defied the laws of gravity and at one point had 5 people trying to erect the blighter. In the end it was considered that the thing looked better on the back of the van than anywhere else, and looked like a bag of spanners when it was anywhere else. Which sort of defeated the object as the door was at the front.
We have an INACA full awning. We booked half a day at our local site, so we could practise putting it up.
The kids aren't old enough to help with the awning (or should I say, they just get in the way), but first time, it took me & OT abit longer than expected. Now we have it to a "T",
It only takes us an hour to get completely set up, inc the awning. We are very pleased with this make, and have found no fault with it. I know they are reasonably priced new too. Having a full awning, also gives you so much more space too

To be able to put up a full awning on his own, your OH must be a big bloke - tall I mean and very patient as well. Does this include threading it through the awning rail as well?
I certainly wouldn't be able to put our Bradcot Classic up on my own and I'm no midget. That's taking my disablity out of the equation of course........
