I just made sure that my BBQ hose was long enough to go outside. Not sure if there are any rules about this.

yep know what you mean ed just gone through the same with our new van took everything out and put it on garage floor and took back to new van the stuff we required at that time ,there was no room for the juke box ,snooker table and one-arm bandit!!!but it is a good time to dispose of unwanted weight. Not sure about the flexi hose for the barbie though ,just make sure its safe to use, our barbie point is on the offside so I cant burn the awning down ( her indoors sez I burn every thing else!!) enjoy...

Know what you mean about where does all the stuff go as our house is chocker with all the caravan stuff waiting to go in our new one.  We did find as we emptied that there was a load of stuff that we don't use so that will not be going into the new one.  Told kids that they are not fetching all their rubbish this time.  Enjoy your new van

Yeah Ed I know what you mean too, all our stuff is in the dining room, the kids den, the landing, the attic and also in the conservatory unbelievable!!  There is more stuff in the garage and the shed too.  We got rid of all the stuff we knew we wouldn't need but still there seems to be too much - I don't know where it all was in our last van or where we are going to put it in the new one!!

As far as I know a long as the hose can reach your BBQ from the gas point that's enough, there doesn't seem to be a rule.

Hope you enjoy your new van - I know we will (enjoy ours I mean)

yes we got rid of loads this time.i found quite a few kids toys (they are 13 and 18 now)so they have gone.iput loads in the charity bag and sold a few on ebay.(why ever did we need 3 regulators, ?)

just changed the stereo over as oh wants mp3 player,so the old one (being only 2months old )is on ebay.

you  have to be quite strict or you will end up with it all back in again.

enjoy your new van,

chebn

Calor advise that hoses for connection to LPG should be no longer than 400mm (+/- 50mm).

Hi all,  thanks for all your replys, i agree with you stormcrow i have a front room & kitchen with loads of stuff piled up dont have a juke box though so cant help with 1 lol as for kids stuff there was alot we threw away either faulty or waiting to be repaired but as they are 12 & 14 now wont use them anyway

Hi chebn, we have been quite strict but still seems to alot but i suppose when its all packed away in the van you dont seem to notice how much you have.

in the end we outed 2 bin liners so not bad but there is always the things you save just incase you might need them???

hi mrs ulti-mates, i looked at that link u  put up shown below..

Low pressure flexible hoses with a maximum length of 400±50mm may be fitted between pressure regulators and the rigid pipework within

the LPG cylinder compartment. Where a pull-out tray for the placement of cylinders is provided, a maximum length of 750±50 mm hose is permitted..

Does this mean i can possible get away with 750mm as this would proberbly put bbq outside of the awning  where it will be safer? sorry to ask

 thanks again

      eddy & co
