Hi Las1, been using them for about 10/12 years for the kids, it is a great way of having a bit more space and it allows them to still have a room away from the olds when we are away, not needed so much now they are all adults , however looks like we will be having the grandkids to stay with us now so again they will come in very handy! If suspending from the awning poles then I suggest using a bungy strap as kids do tend to haul at them and the extra give is well worth having. Saves rips and tears etc, we learnt the hrd way!

Still alive and kicking!

Have used them.  I always carry extra elastic untill I know how it will fit. We lift ours and tie it up  against the side of the awning in the day airbed, sleeping bag and all, that way it leaves lots of space and no worry with damaging the grass.

Dont spend a lot - there are very cheap ones on ebay and fit everything. Unlike annexes they just clip to the poles. We are thinking of getting one just to put bikes and shoes to keep the awning tidy. A good idea.

A three man inner tent in your annexe will take one of those 2' 6" high double blow up airbeds.  It wont take the King size, but will comfortably take the doubles.

My grandson uses a single skin dome tent when he comes with us.It doesn't take up as much room as an inner tent yet gives him shelter and privacy. It packs away very small and is kept in the caravan always just in case of unexpected visitors. It easily takes a double air bed.

LAS 1,

we have one that we dont want!  It is a full height one which will take a double blow up air bed.  We only used it once last year and now our daughter (17) decided she would rather be in a pup tent, thats when she wants to come at all!!  Its yours if you want it.  I dont know how you go about security on here, but if you post a message back on here, with an email address, I can email you my phone number.  I dont expect the postage would be more than a fiver!

Nicky - thank you very much that is so kind. It will help enormously at Easter when I have offered to take 5 extra children, on top of my own 3! My email is: lasmithson at hotmail.com
