Hi, Quick question.... are there any makes I should avoid? I'm thinking of getting a second hand one but there appears to be a multitude out there and was just wanting to get some advice on some makes that maybe best avoided, which would help rule out some and make the search smaller.
hi jefflad....in answer to your question.....dont know of any you should avoid...just make sure its dry and you cant smell damp. you can buy a damp detector and check it properly. then its just down to your own pesonal taste.eg layout back kitchen end bathroom (toilet) etc....enjoy your searching!!!!!

Thanks pp we had a little look round today and there appears to be a few main themes on layout however, there are some subtle changes or additions and it has our head spinning on what to go for. We did notice some didn't seem to have the finish of others so that got me thinking on if some should be avoided. oh we're looking at 2nd hand ones.
if you decide how many berths you need, then decide where you want the bathroom, check what caravans you can tow with your tow car, decide how much money you have to spend, and look at all the caravans that fit your needs, and that you give you some sort of idea of to go for, but most important make sure that what ever model you buy, is free from damp and is safe to tow. and safe to use.
apart that when you get a van have lots of fun with it.
