Andyclo, the same thing happened to us - our mover wouldn't work properly when we tried to use it a few weeks ago. We took the battery out and put it on charge for about 24hrs and then it worked fine!

Mine did just the same (Enduro). I'd assumed it just turned off the remote, perhaps not.
How does a battery charger know when it's charged to 80%?
An alternative explanation happened to us when our powrtouch was first fitted . The remote control aerial was too close to the feeds to the motors so when the motor went from the soft start to during full power it interfered with the aerial and cut out. Moving the aerial wire solved this something to try if charging the battery doesn't work
