HI, I'm new to this. We had a caravan years ago and we are getting back into it.

We like the 4 berth fixed end bed arrangement and have narrowed our search down to a Lunar Lexon or the Ace Jubilee Aristocrat. We are leaning towards the Ace.

Anyone got either van or have any views re these two options??

Thanks

Bob

Hi Bob,

We bought a second hand Ace Jubilee last year, it is 3 years old now and has been fantastic. We looked at all the options and thought the finish on the Ace was good. Cupboards and upholstery are well made. We looked at a Lunar Delta, but thought the Ace was a better bet.

We have the Lunar Zenith 6 with the fixed bunk beds at the rear, excellent van very easy to tow and well built. I have had different makes in the past but this is by far the best

We had a Lunar Lexon, very happy with it but when we were looking to change last year we looked at the Lunar Zeniths and were about to buy one when we saw the Ace Jubilee Aristocrat. My wife liked the Ace more and they offered us more in part ex than we paid for our Lunar and more than the Lunar dealer offered.

I've got to say we both love the Ace, there were a few teething problems when it was delivered but the dealer sorted them out quick time. The fixed bed is great and there's loads of storage space. It also feels a good bit better built than the Lunar

The seal round the door leaked and made a right mess when the van was only 10 months old.  Six months on and the damp has been repaired but it still has to go back to get more work done  The wall panel is soft and marked.  I want the van replaced but Swift will not go further than a £750 discount on a new van leaving me to pay £2750.  I offered to pay £2500 with a £1000 discount but they rejected this so it looks like the van is going back to the dealers for more repairs (it was in SIX WEEKS last time!
