Is it under warranty?
If so, call them. If not.
Is it the pad sticking? Or is it the "electrics"?
If you disengage the rollers you can experiment in safety, and perhaps free off a sticky pad.
Don't be tempted to spray anything on the remote to lubricate it as it can damage the contacts under the buttons.
If its the electrics, it could be a sticky relay, a few on/off operations may cure it.
