Is it under warranty?

If so, call them. If not.

Is it the pad sticking? Or is it the "electrics"?

If you disengage the rollers you can experiment in safety, and perhaps free off a sticky pad.

Don't be tempted to spray anything on the remote to lubricate it as it can damage the contacts under the buttons.

If its the electrics, it could be a sticky relay, a few on/off operations may cure it.

best to get in touch with powrtouch and put their warranty to the test

this can happen odd times, although rare.for this reason a battery cut off switch should be used if you have one,sounds like wonky remote.contact powrtouch the service is first class.

well put thier warranty to the test and a engineer is coming out thursday no problem

well one of there agent engineers came put a new pcb and hand set which they sent to me the next day and every thing is working ok
