We have the 2007 Crusader Aurora and love it. 

That particular model is now no longer made - think the Crusader is only larger sizes now, so its nice to have been able to get the high spec in the two berth fixed bed before it stopped.

Have any of you good people with a 4+ berth got a double dinnette at the back, possibly with a shower cubible. We have just lookes at a Swift Challenger490 SE and it seems to suit our needs, wondering if any other makes have similar.

We have had both and agree the L shaped appears more roomy but do sit and imagine how you would be when chilling out with your wine/beer or cuppa! a lot of the time there is nowhere at hand to place it down! And depending on the manufacturer the seating that runs under the window can be restricting by the angle of the front.

we have compas omega 5 berth  L shaped lounge diner back and front, side washroom with seperate shower and find this layout is great for us

We have had both in the past and do not like the 'L' shape. You cannot lounge as easily and you can't both watch TV with your feet up. Also a pain if you want to use the bed layout. Also table is always in the way. Mind you there is only two of us and we like the little chest table.
