Can anyone tell me the answers to the following 2 questions to do with status aerials.

1. Ours is a retro-fit. The base is secure but it does seem to flex the roof panel if you try to move it. It also seem to be able to move freely between the base and the aerial disc. Is tis all normal.

2. we never use it. Is it a problem to remove the top bit and just leave the base or would this be a problem.

Just googled it and Ive ordered the plug. we have never used the aerial anyway so i`ll just keep it until I sell the caravan.
