Hi,

We are looking for a porch awning, don't want to buy a cheap one that will only last a few trips out. But we do want one that is easy and quick, less than 30 minutes would be good, to put up. Also want to avoid one that has to many ropes holding it up.
We are currently looking at either a Dorema Hilton or Laser, currently erring towards the Laser, because of the slightly better material used all round.
So two questions.

    Do any if you have one of these awnings and can say are they any good and how quick can they be erected.
    Any other good Porch awnings you have.

Hi found a advert in my local paper for porch awning 2 yers old used once £150. phone is grantham 01476 577492  was in friday 21 march .Hope this might help you .

We have a Hilton porch awning!

It's very easy to put up, we can normally do it in about 15 minutes, there are no guy ropes to mess about with either. We have used this awning in the winter and autumn for about 5 years, it has stood up extremely well to the elements, never any problem in the wind while using the storm strap attachments. A good quality awning!

Many thanks for that Wendy, we have just ordered one.  I have seen a few second hand ones but they are all about 5 years old, at that age thay could be a unknown quanity.
