i agree with those who say sleep on the cut out side.
i just tuck my misses feet in on her side and she's happy.
would never go back to making beds up no matter how tall i was

changed back from fixed bed to a 2 berth . much more room in bed and more comfortable too . ok you have a 3 minute faff setting it up and putting it away but not the end of the world.

We couldn't find a fixed bed that suited my 6ft4 OH although he could have coped if he was in it alone and didn't have to fit round me.
I'm sure that they are wonderful if you are 6ft or under

To avoid the problem of one of us having to climb over the other if we get up in the night, we went for a fixed twin-bed German caravan. One bed is slightly longer than the other (I think it's about 6 foot 4) so tall hubby has that, and we both sleep well.

Just been looking at 2014 vans and see that the Sterling Eccles Sport 514 although a smallish van has a 1.98m/ 6ft 6 inch bed, must go and have a lie down in one.
