hiya, completley new to this so here goes i am thinking of selling our compass rallye gte 460/2berth caravan it is a lovely van not a mark on it no damp spotless but we really do need a bigger van however i am sick of looking at other vans that are bigger but quite frankly i wouldnt want to to sleep in them dont get me wrong i am not a snob but most of them stink!!!and they just dont compere to my rallye, also i havent a clue what its worth (any one who does)we are on a tight budget (doing a loft conversion at the minute) the kids sleep in the van, myself and hubby are in the awning with the dog ,very romantic![seprate annexe of course) any feedback would be gratefully appreciated
I suppose it depends what you are looking at and how much you have to spend. I can't help with the price of your van but have you looked on preloved and the free adds on here for another van. It depends what you are looking for.

thanks for your reply!,i think i am thinking of the new bailey ranger 5 birth we really need a van with a end bedroom we have only got a bmw tourer so dont want to go too heavy but this seems to fit our spec
I can't fault Bailey as you can see we have one (even if it is up for sale) we haven't had any major problems with them and would have another one . And the only reason I am selling mine is because we want a diffrent lay-out. And yes as you say very light weight. Good luck we was going to have a ranger but they didn't have the layout we wanted at the time.
Have you thought of buying a folding camper? They are much more spacious than the biggest caravans inside, yet have similar equipment and a lot easier to tow and manouvre.
We are selling ours in free ads 'cos of old age and infirmity.
hi thanks for the advice ted we did use to have a trailer tent and it was huge had some great times in it ,we got a caravan in the end just to try and get away a little bit more out of season we are maybe going to try a seasonal pitch next year that way we will hopefully get away a bit more and i can hopefully drag my hubby away from work a little bit more often!!! anyway good luck with your sale regards sherrall
