Hello there i have  a bailey magenta 2001 i wonder if anybody with bailey has had this happen to them when they have been away.My electric cuts it self off at cutout switch in the van when i have only a few appliances on like a radio blown air heating and hot water is thier a surge cutout on it or is it just a thing in bailey caravans.

yes our bailey does the same,we can only have the heating on 1000 or 500 and the water heater and the tv at the same time.if we tried to boil the kettle with all this on it will trip out.we switch off the water or heating to boil the kettle.saves going for the warden so no bothered,its easy to turn back on.

Bailey fitted a batch of MCBs that were faulty.  may be worth getting a sparky out to check it.

Is the cutout switch you are talking about an mcb or is it the rcd.?

If it is the rcd that keeps cutting off, 9 times out of 10 it will be a faulty appliance that

is causing you all the problems!

It may be worth checking the rating of the mcb if that is the problem!
