Hi Diane.
We have done France with motorhomes, but this will be the first time towing. Going for 7 weeks, and weeks 5 and 6 are at a booked site in the midi-pyrenees.
Must admit that I have always been impressed by the freedom of parking, compared to the UK.
I bought a satnav at the end of last year, mainly with France in mind. It has facilities to tell it we are a LORRY, to help avoid too narrow roads. It also has provision to avoid toll roads. To be sure, however, OH will monitor progress with conventional road atlas. Naturally, if we do go wrong, I will immediately agree that it is the fault of the satnav.
Bertie.
