f i remember correctly they hire out aerial cables for a couple of quid.
I don't think we were more than half our mains cable from the bollard, so 15 metres would probably suffice, however if you get 25, you will never be short.
crickey youngerpet why do you want a tele in Clumber Park??,at this time of year you will get evening song, the dawn chorus, and more if you walk round, what more can you want from a fantastic natural location, surely not the tele miduck.
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
We were at Clumber recently, the length needed would vary as the pitches share one EHU bollard to three or four pitches. It would depend which pitch you chose? However, if you do want to watch tele, you deffo need coaxial cable for your ariel as you will not get any watchable picture at all without, unless you have a satellite kit.

Not any longer they don't, but they will sell you a 25m cable for £10 and I know that they have them in the office at Clumber.
I was at Clumber Park last week. The hardstanding pitch I was on was serviced by a post with 3 hook-up points. It was situated at the back of the middle pitch of a block of 3. If I had been on the centre pitch my 10m cable would have reached, but as I was off to one side it was nowhere near long enough. I bought one from the shop for £13, which was 25m long. This was the only length they had, but it is enough to reach the post from any of the pitches.
Even though I had read in the cc book that the signal was poor, i thought I would try my free-standing aerial before parting with my dosh, but it was terrible!
