Well done you.  Of course we can do it!!!!!

I've been towing for about 4 years now.  My husband can't drive so I have to tow!!   Wouldn't want him driving MY car anyway! lol.   I always get "double takes".

We keep the caravan in our garden, and it gives me great pleasure to see the amazement of our neighbours when I reverse the caravan back in.

Keep it up.  It gets easier, I used to have white knuckles the first time i towed.

Well done Cathy! I hope you had a great time at Melrose. What was the site like?

And how is Cora - is she keeping up her good behaviour?

Yes well done Cathy, it's not as hard as some people think.

You do get some stares and there are some real gentlemen out there that let you through the narrower gaps, mind you I've had quite a few ladies have given way when needed too.

I too can reverse our van, the storage we use has about 14" either side of the van but as I have to back it in on a corner I do need someone behind the van for the blind side.

My husband passed his test after the new regulations came in for towing and as we've never been sure if he could tow legally and it's my car I do the towing.  One of these days we'll get round to him doing his trailer test then he can tow too but in the meantime it's me.

We go again May Day weekend and I can't wait!  We were away at Easter and what fun that was!!!!!

Hi Pauline,

Melrose was excellent. The site was great not very big. usual CC facilities. Great place right in the village, great cycling and the walks along the river Tweed were fab. Cora had a great time

Coras is doing fine with the on going training. She's far from perfect but 100% better than she was. We need to keep reminding ourselves not to expect tooo much from  her she is  still only 5 months old.

Well managed my trial tow this morning, I'm pleased with myself as I did rather well. My husband sat with plaster cast in passenger seat and for once acted more like driving instructor than sergeant major.

Well looks like I've passed my provisional, now for the advanced test next weekend in the lakes!

Managed reversing with much verbal prompting from other half. Can't get my head around caravan turning opposite way to wheel. Hopefully that will click with practise.
