If you look on pocuk (pajero owners site)and scroll dowm to the caravan section there is a section on breakers on there.

just bought a caravan thinking it was cheep, swft corvette aprox yr 87. been found to have major damp. is it going to be worth repairing or breaking.

Not worth repairing unless you intend keeping it. It probably won't cost a huge amount, bot of course a 21 year old van is worth almost nothing anyway.

If you spent a few hundred pounds on it and a few days work, you would certainly have a van that would last you a while and it would cost a lot less than buying a newer one. If you intend upgrading to a newer one any time soon though then it's not going to be worth doing as trade in value on it is going to be nil.

(Actually they would probably allow you £1000 on a newer van, but if you don't part ex then they would probably be prepared to knock £1000 of the asking price)
