As the government through taxes are trying to get us to buy smaller cars to help protect the enviroment, why are caravan manufacturers making vans heavier so that we are obliged to buy bigger cars which are worse for the enviroment.

When are they going to start and reduce the weight through lighter materials so that we car buy these smaller cars.

Once upon a time 1600 would pull just about anything now we nearly need over 2litres to do it

i went to pioneers and crowland today they have loads of little vans that may suit you for your needs

and i couldnt agree more but then i suppose they have to rip someone off i guess its our turn now

Bailey found this with their Discovery Range. Basic vans (which apparantly everybody wants), light weight, cheap and reliable.

Can't sell 'em.  

The heavier and better appointed Pageant is still the best seller by far (weighing in at an average of 1400kg)
