l sold my lunar delta 460[late 1980's] last year without the awning but have decided to buy a trailer tent so no longer need said awning. One problem being l can't remember length of the caravan so don't know length of awning to be able to put it up for sale.Has anyone got any idea how l can now measure the awning acurately[l don't want to sell someone the wrong size]or does anyone have the same caravan and know the awning length?I have a green dorema sirocco with sloping annex.
look carefully and you will find a little tag sown in it somewhere, gives make and size, only about one inch square.we have a dorema and its in the top right hand corner when fitted to the van.

If you can't find the tag Michael mentions. Lay out the awning so you can measure from the joint at each end of the awning [where the plastic mud flap joins the sides] i.e. awning ground to ground. Measure in cm.
i would imagine it is a size 12 dorema the same as mine but dont hold me to that one ill keep on looking the only other thing to do is ring up lunar they were very helpful getting parts for mine
I know when we were looking into awnings for a potential van we asked at Lowdham leisure and they had a manual of the sizes for caravans. So you could give your local caravan dealer a ring
How to find out which size you need. Measure your caravan as shown in the picture, the measurement from ground to ground A-B-C can then be checked with the chart to give you your awning size. If you are not sure please contact your Dorema dealer for further advice.
