We recently sold ours through an ad on e-bay. I advertised it as a classified ad rather than an auction. That only costs £12.99 for 28 days. I had advertised it in various other places, like on here, the local free ads paper etc but the only ad that generated any interest was the e-bay one.

Like others have said now should be a good time to advertise I would have said.

I have been watching caravans on ebay for the past month and the prices are just getting higher and higher.  I bought our new one from Auto-Trader at a much better price.  The only thing with ebay is the time it will take to list and take photo's of your van.  The better prices certainly do go to the sellers who have loads of pictures and have the most detailed listing.  I'd even go so far as to add the spec from the handbook.

Whitsun is the peak time of the year for selling.

I understand (probably wrongly) that there is a shortage of decent second hand caravans around at the moment so don't price yours too low.

Hi,  I know LOOT was more expensive than Ebay but I can't remember how much, sorry.
