Hi There Papadore
Got back yesterday and I must say I was very impressed.
By the time the wife got to site I had sorted everything out including most of the awning. I just had the pegging out to do.
All in all it probably took around 20 mins to get right, but I know that will reduce next time. Once up there was plenty of room inside and the feature of being able to roll the panels back up was good in the warm weather.
I cant comment on wind and rain as we didnt really experience any.
I did find that the small awning end stops need filing down a bit to fit into the awning rail, but that shouldn't be an issue.
When taking the awning down you take all the poles out and then have to roll up into the bag attached to the van. Initially I thought this was going to be a pain, but I easilly managed it on my own. For once it was a bag that things easily fit into!!!!
After the brief usage it got I would recommend one, I can see us using most of the time instead of the big awning. However please note, still to be tested in wind and rain.
