Hello everyone.  Have had a fabulous few days away in our ancient Lunar at Thetford Forest.

Firstly, thank you to the 3 people who came and helped me when I dropped the caravan onto it's nose - oops - somehow the bottom bit of the jockey wheel came away from the top bit.  Anyway, that's another story.

We survived a massive storm and had a great time.  However, there is water collected between the two window panes at the front of the caravan.  Does that make sense?  I seem to remember some people asking how they get rid of flies etc that get caught up in there but I have about 4" of water in there sloshing around. 

Any help greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

sorry cant help with the window situation; but my oh did exactly the same thing

with our jockey wheel( we too have an ancient ish lunar) it was only our 2nd time out

with it and he thought he;d broke it....til some good soul came and rescued us.(very messy putting it back together tho)!!

my elddis front middle screen was like that,the window had split across the top join where it is bonded together,the water then runs under the strip that the windows are attached to and runs into the split window,i managed to drill a small hole in the bottom to drain it and than stuck the window back together with epoxy resin

Hi AJ, there should be little rubber plugs at the bottom of the windows on the inside either on the left or right side, open up your windows and remove the plug to drain the water, then when dried check the metal strip above the window and the window its self and locate where the water is coming in, then a good sealant!

i agree with removing the rubber plugs,the trouble is with mine the plugs are not right at the bottom they are about an inch up so there was no way of draining all the water,there has to be a split or something at the top of the window allowing the water in as the windows are sealed units the two pieces of perspex are bonded together
