You will all probably laugh but some how we managed to get the caravan into the drive last night with the motor mover only to realise once it was in that the handbrake was still on! it had been a long day and it was late. Unfortunately my partner has tried to move the caravan today (with the handbrake off) and the wheels seem to be locked. Caravan is not going anywhere. Please, Please, Please advise on how we can fix this. As always all advice is much appreciated.

That was what I was thinking that was why I was asking whether they were trying to move it by hand.  She had already said that they had used the mover to get it onto the drive, but she hadn't said whether they were now trying to move it with the mover or by hand.

Release motor mover from tyre, release handrake, and rock the front A frame  side to side, this should free off the shoes which have locked up via the auto reverse system.

If it does not work remove wheel and drum and check the brake linings have not come unglued. (in fact inspect them even if it does work)

Did they use the use one shot locking nuts on 1997 vans?  It might be worthwhile getting a couple of those before removing the drums, also a torque wrench that can torque up to 290Nm, and a 32mm socket.
