I don't think it will damage it, but it will make a mess.

Try Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler after washing your caravan, it makes it easier to clean the next time.

I'd try and get them to change the pitch next season, there's always someone who leaves.  The trees make your roof filthy, it gets down the sides and in the autumn the leaves are a darned nuisance - so are acorns, chestnuts, crab apples falling off......but worst of all, you can hear the branches creaking in high winds and you wonder if one is going to fall on you in the night!!
