Hi all,
Just an update. We have had our Powrtouch mover fitted now for 4months and its been fantastic!
We have never ever pushed or pulled our caravan anywhere, as mentioned by many people. My husband alway preferred to manover the van whislst still attached to the car. The air has been blue on many occasions and tempers very frayed! but he was very sceptical about spending all that money when we have always managed.
He now thinks it is great. Praise indeed.
He may not have NEEDED one, but certainly is a luxury to have one.
I felt the same way when we had a mover on our last van.  When we had the new van in July, it was an automatic decision for us.

Sorry to ask but what was the "fab price" that you have got for the heavy-duty powrtouch mover?  Did you get this price by price-matching.

I am seriously thinking of getting one for our 'van - getting a bit old for pushing and just started keeping 'van on our awkward access drive.

Thanks

Tim

we are paying £800 for it fitted not through price matching but through the goodwill of the dealer  I wanted it through the dealer as if we have isues i want to be able to sort out from here iyswim

i am sure you can get it cheaper but having looked around it does seem a good price mind you it is only £50 off there current price at the dealers but hey £50 is £50

lol now someone find it cheaper for me lol

Hi Mike

I am another Powertouch Fan. I had one fitted to my Pageant Provence single axle which I had for 4 years, in that time I had one noisy motor which Powertouch changed over under their fantastic warranty free of charge at my home. I keep the van at home and have to encounter 90 degree turns and uphill drive and it worked brilliantly, even when the drive was covered in snow and ice.

I have recently changed to a twin axle Crusader and had the double double version fitted from new, I was concerned that the movers would not be able to turn the van tight enough to get it on the drive but took the gamble anyway. What a fantastic product, it works like a treat and turns the heavy twin axle without a problem and up our slope including the turns. In my opinion they are worth every penny.

I cannot praise Powertouch movers and their after sales backup enough.
