I do agree with U-F-C, a lot of people are just repeating what they were told.
Take the couple opposite our van who have just got a 417 Abbey, I went over, as you do, and they told me it was 1997? er no, without going any closer I could see it had a Truma water heater and I know that makes it 2001 or later!! it's actually 2003 and six years the right side makes you wonder though?

As it happens another van has been replaced this week, get there tonight and there's what I thought was our van? across the way... what!!!

A quick glance back at ours confirms my worst fears? we've got a copy cat
mind you it's an older model LOL

....bought it in auction with the hpi wiped clean , but no keys (i bought it locked so couldnt get in it ), no cris paper work , so i had to apply for the paperwork but was guaranteed either to get my money back or the van

the funny thing was when we got in to it we found the keys , loads of paperwork inc stamped service log and all the recepts ,clamp that they couldnt be bothered to use on there drive.it was ramed full of other stuff , hubby thinked it was well overweight as pajero had trouble pulling it it only had a 250kg personal allowance . there was hitch lock ,waste master , water master ,a cheap camcorder , a ps2 and lots of girly games , tv , dab radio .loads of bedding and blankets ,lots of new clothes with tags on , and a cupbords full of food , a fridge full of rotten green food .

no it was reposessed . ive got all the paperwork to prove that , including the court documents , by black horse finance i have delt with them before . , the people who remove it from the person oweing moneys drive dont ask you to empty it first , they only give you one chance and then it off to the auction house

belive me its amazing what vans get sold with with things inside

oOOO I would have really mixed feelings about a van like that ,on one hand wow what a bargain but on the other hand I think I would find it heartbreaking finding people possesions that they had accumulated over the years :( There but for the grace of god go anyone :(
